Use of Handbooks

by | Feb 18, 2026 | ALERT Cadet, All News

The following is a composite of dads sharing their experiences in the Handbooks:

Take a two-month block of time for each Handbook Phase, with long breaks between Phases.

Be outside during the day and work in the Handbooks at night.

Build Handbook progress into the home-schooling day.

Dad needs to make Handbook progress a priority.

The oldest son keeps his younger brothers making progress, and dad is with them every Friday night helping them in their Phases.

Being able to substitute a skill that is more motivating for completing a Phase has been a great improvement.

The memory and meditation is good.

It is all about making a workable schedule to get it done.

Sons lose motivation when dad is not working in the Handbooks with them.
