SUMMARY:South Central Father/Son Service Camp
DESCRIPTION:THURSDAY-SUNDAY\, March 9-12\, 2023 \n Camp commences Thursday at 17:30 and adjourns Sundayat 12:00. Arrival time between 10:00 – 16:00 Thursday\, Mar 9 th toset up camp. Color Guard Training 14:30 – 15:30 Primitive campground setting for tents or pop-up campers.o Pine Lodge cabins with beds are available for $25 per night (sleeps 3). Tents canbe set up alongside the cabins for sons if more than 3 per family.Call for reservation: 903-636-9201. \n Friday morning and afternoon will be 6 hours of ServiceProjects – hours spent on the service project can be usedtowards a Personal Service or Unit Service Award. Travelto and from a service camp may be counted towards the25 man-hours of service provided at least 50% of the hoursaccumulated are actual work\, not travel. Saturday morning will be organized activities. Saturday afternoon will be father-son time with numerous activities available. Camp registration cost for Father-Son Service Camp:$55 for father and 1 son plus $20 for each additional son ($35 is non-refundable). Those attending camp earn a Father-Son Camp award. Come as a unit or as individual families (Third Delta). Bring your own food\, tents and sleeping gear(Pine Lodge cabins have sheets and towels). Evening session of spiritual encouragement forfathers and sons before lights out. Camp CO will be Capt.  Dan Schlichter \n
