“Rise Up Men of God”  was the theme of the LTC camp this year. Cadet LTC’s and their fathers received training in “putting off the old man with his deeds” and “putting on the new man” in Christ, based on Colossians 3:1-17.

To support these biblical principles they learned many First Responder skills including:  Search and Rescue, Sawyer Work, Emergency First Aid, Deep Water Safety and Rescue among others. The final day consisted of an 11 hour emergency scenario requiring the men to demonstrate self-sacrificing love using their skills to aid helpless “victims”.  Both participants and staff came away with renewed knowledge and skills, strengthened character, and most importantly more free in Christ to Rise Up as Men of God!
